Just a little ways from Mt. Rushmore you can take all the aches and pains of your stressful life away with a warm water swim in Evans Plunge with its warm water swimming pool.  The plunge and it’s therapeutic healing water is what has made Hot Springs famous and is the oldest tourist attraction of the region.  Evans Plunge has a flow rate of nearly 5,000 gallons per minute so you never have the same water since it changes every hour and a half.

Not only is Evans Plunge a wonderful way to relax but the area has been upgraded to now include an indoor water park, fitness center, hot tubs and steam rooms.  You can’t help but feel better once you have used these to ease your tension and stress away!

Don’t just wish you were there, go and enjoy the pool.  While you are in the are visit the other parts of Hot Springs that make your life more enjoyable.  Look at the collection of pink sandstone buldings that are part of the proud heritage of the community.

Take a walk and observe the scenic beauty and excess of natural and cultural resources just waiting to draw you to the community.  You may never want to leave!

Pull your boat with you and take time to go visit Angostura Reservoir and Recreation area just 10 miles from town.  You can go fishing, swimming or boating on the water or just lie on your spot on the 35 miles of shoreline and sandy beaches just waiting for you.

Visit the Fall River County Pioneer Museum while in town.  See how things have changed since the frontier was settled.  The building it is housed in was built in 1893.
