Circle B Ranch Original Chuckwagon Supper & Western Music Show – Rapid City, SD

CircleBranch.jpgNestled on 58 acres in the Black Hills National Forest of South Dakota near Rapid City, is the Circle B Ranch Chuckwagon – a Black Hills tradition since 1976.

Stroll along the wooden sidewalks of the Old West town, browse in the Wild Horse Gift Shop, sip a cold sarsaparilla in the Buffalo Room Soda Fountain, or watch the world-class woodcarver, Doug Ladd, shape one of his creations. Lots of folks come for the trail rides through the pine forest, an historic journey on an antique covered wagon, or a jaunt on a friendly pony. Some try their hand at a little gold panning, while others pass the time with an easy game of horseshoes. There are also fun activities for the "little wranglers", playgrounds, a petting zoo, shooting gallery, "mini" western theater, and model calf roping which has become an even more popular activity with the adults!

In the evening there is a "shoot-out" for the visitors entertainment followed by a chuckwagon type dinner served on tin plates in the large dining facility.

After supper, the Circle B Cowboys perform a rousing hour of authentic cowboy music and comedy, entertaining their guests with old-time cowboy show tunes, once sung by Roy Rogers and Gene Autry.

Location: 14 miles west of Rapid City on Hwy 44W; then 1 mile north on Hwy 385.
