Established in 1946 and originally housed in a CCC Camp Lodge which was built in 1933. The current theater was built in the 1950′s and is still used today.

The Black Hills Playhouse has been in continuous operation since its inception in 1946. CCC Camp Lodge has been in continuous operation since its construction in 1933.

A non-profit professional summer theatre and training program located in scenic Custer State Park. Associated with the College of Fine Arts, USD, with actors, directors and designers from all over the country. Magnificent performances. June thru August.
