The rally brings people from all over the United States to the community of Sturgis for a week of motorcycle fun and companionship. Although there are always problems when there are huge crowds of people, the Sturgis community has the experience to work with the situations that arise whether it be sanitary facilities, lodging or food.

The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is always the first week after the first full weekend in August.
