Cramer-Kenyon Heritage Home.jpgCramer-Kenyon Heritage Home – Yankton, South Dakota

Built in Yankton in 1886 by the Secretary of Dakota Territory, Mr. Teller, this stately home is the tallest Queen Anne home in South Dakota. Unique features of the home inlude heavy double doors in the front entry, high covered ceilings, combination gas and electric chandeliers and original imported wallpaper in the parlors. Oil paintings done by Alice Bullfinch Cramer decorate the walls, while the parlor set and other original furnishings throughout the house are proof of the devoted care of the Kenyon family. The entire home remains in original 1880s decor.
