David and a replica statue of Michelangelo’s Moses were donated jointly to the city and Augustana College in 1971 by inventor Thomas Fawick. Augustana has had Moses on campus and for years David stands in a park named for the donor.

If you are interested in great art, sculpture and want to see this excellent replica you will want to visit both Augustana College for the replica of Moses and the city park to see David.
