Fewer than 300 people live in this prairie town, but it packs a lot of history in a tiny parcel. Part of the Lewis and Clark Trail, the Geddes Historic Villiage includes a pioneer cemetery, a trading post, a schoolhouse, the childhood home of former governor Peter Norbeck,a scaled replica of a Keelboat used by Lewis and Clark on their journey and much more.

Located on Lake Francis Case and just minutes from the Missouri River, the town is a great base for fishing, hunting, boating, and other water activities. The town of Geddes offers opportunities for picking up last minute items. Tour packages are also offered.

Situated on the western edge of the Yankton Indian Reservation, on County Road 50 off Highway 18 or 281.
