The Museum Complex includes the Main Museum Building (containing majority of exhibits), Territorial Council Building (restored) for all to enjoy in Yankton, South Dakota.

Date founded: 1936

Included in the museum are Great Northern Railroad Depot, Cook Blacksmith Shop, Gunderson Rural School house and a Retired Burlington Northern Caboose.
