Dakotaland Museum - Huron, South Dakota - The Dakotaland Museum, which was established in 1960 as the South Dakota State Fair Pioneer Museum, is dedicated to the preservation of the heritage of Huron and Beadle County. More than 5000 artifacts are currently on display and thousands are welcomed each year. Among the museum exhibits are historical documents, photographs, maps and newspapers of Huron and Beadle County.
